CONTINUING HIS GRAND TOUR, MARK FOGARTY RECKONS THE LE MANS 24 HOURS IS AS MUCH ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE AS THE RACE
A MONTH ago I posited that the Indianapolis 500 is the greatest race in the world because of its combination of spectacle, speed, scale, drama and fame.
The 500 is rivalled only by the Monaco Grand and the Le Mans 24 Hours for renown and prestige, but as racing contests they rarely reach the heights of the Indy 500.
I will concede, however, that as an event, Le Mans gives the 500 a run for its money. As an experience, it may even be better.
Certainly, as far as attendance goes, Le Mans is right up there as one of the largest...

AS HE MAKES HIS WAY TO LE MANS, MARK FOGARTY REJOICES IN THE FEAST OF RACING AT THIS TIME OF YEAR
IT’S A great time of the year for great races. This coming weekend will be the fourth straight featuring either a classic event or at least one of note.
After the Indianapolis 500 and Monaco Grand Prix on the same weekend, there was the revived Detroit IndyCar Grand Prix and last weekend featured the Canadian GP, Texas IndyCar 550 and NASCAR’s Pocono 400.

If you ask nicely, you may be allowed to be part of our live audience.
Beyond Episode 200
There comes a time, in this case after six years, with over 240 episodes recorded in 10 different countries, 300+ guests and 220 continuous hours of recording, that we feel its time to go commercial. With over 55,000 viewers, since March 2011, we get some serious exposure. So we thought a magazine to fill in the gaps would be nice.
A Word of Warning
Our firm policy that we don't edit a show once its recorded is because it detracts from its natural conversational character in the first place. Commercial partners and alliances will have to adhere to policy and whilst we'll do the best to accommodate you and make you feel loved you have no control of how we do things. Just so we're clear on that :)
