If you want to go to the 2013 Apple World Wide Developers Conference – of which I’ve now endured at least ten – then be ready and on your mark, because the tickets will go in 5 minutes. No kidding. Nice spot SF, but much better when the event was held in San José and Steve...
Last week in New Zealand, the weather was the best I’ve ever experienced. For the last twelve years, I’ve been in Wanganui, mid March, doing family stuff.
Next week, I’m hoping for more of the same, as The Foges and I head over to Cromwell, near Queenstown, on the South Island, to check out the brand new Highland Motorsport Park.
It’s opening at Easter and Craig Baird will be putting in some fast lappery in a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 racer, but not before a few select media get the run of the place.
If the video below doesn’t convince you that this venture is going to be a mammoth success, take heed that it is put...

#227 – Meet DR. Eynolds
Duration: 58 Minutes
Our guest, tonight, is stranded in the Burnley Tunnel, gasping for air, in a ghastly Focus RS-ish green shirt, inhaling nasty exhaust fumes.
Suddenly the Good Doctor arrives, in Car 52D,
Sheer and utter luxury follows, with Le Fogeaux, Harty and The Rusty Sausage*, enjoying a chilled Peroni on the Yarra River, avéc ordinary tapas.
OMG. The Phoges pays! Just hear up hearers and enjoy.
* The Rusty Sausage is travelling, to Sydney Town, not his AA-ness, luckily.
Firstly, I can’t be asked.
Secondly, it’s his fault not mine.
And, thirdly, a new born child has entered the world – Mie-Mai.
Ah, yes viewers – I must say that we, here @ HOTLAP, the parent company, have been a touch off kilter this year.
Site updates tardy. Women often verbally abused. Steaks overcooked. A salad dressing forgotten. Inappropriate sex, even!
Oh, dear me. How shall we make amends?
Welcome to the (trumpet and ta-da fanfare etc) *NEW and IMPROVED* website that is for the Danish Owl
Yes, we’ve up-speced his Twitter feed. Added an Instagram picture matrix. Hell, and even written some stuff.
Oh, but most...
#222.5 - Foges ‘n’ Paul @ Singers F1
Duration: 46 Minutes
The Foges is in the F1 media centre at Singapore and he is a touch cranky due to humidity, temperature and the fact that the Slings he had at The Raffles Hotel, early today, with that sneak, Paul Marinelli, aka Frosty’s PR Manager, have worn off.
Radio HOTLAP is available free on the Apple iTunes Music Store, as a podcast.
Our World Headquarters are located in a rather nice part of Adelaide, where regular production takes place. Unless we're somewhere else, which is often the case.
If you ask nicely, you may be allowed to be part of our live audience.
Beyond Episode 200
There comes a time, in this case after six years, with over 240 episodes recorded in 10 different countries, 300+ guests and 220 continuous hours of recording, that we feel its time to go commercial. With over 55,000 viewers, since March 2011, we get some serious exposure. So we thought a magazine to fill in the gaps would be nice.
A Word of Warning
Our firm policy that we don't edit a show once its recorded is because it detracts from its natural conversational character in the first place. Commercial partners and alliances will have to adhere to policy and whilst we'll do the best to accommodate you and make you feel loved you have no control of how we do things. Just so we're clear on that :)
