(This photo is from LM24 last year and no, Darren Turner (L) will not be part of the line-up but will be getting lessons along with Seb and Romain on how to use a razor – actually better add Mark Webber into the course as well)
Allan Simonsen will take in the full World Endurance Championship in 2013 with an all-Danish line up. Allan will join Christoffer Nygaard and Kristian Poulsen in an Aston Martin Vantage GTE.
Here’s the full story, albeit Google to Danish translation…

With the launch of the 2013 McLaren F1 car will come another series of excellent animations featuring Sergio Perez and Jenson Button, instead of Lewis Hamilton, who was rather cleverly written out of the script once he was headed for Mercedes. Here is a short clip that takes a look behind the scenes and how its put together.
As JP pointed out earlier today, Pirelli has a new range of F1 tyres, with, most importantly, different colour designators to 2012. This of course creates a huge drama for the fans, who have quite rightly so rushed out and spent nine whole quid on an essential fashion accessory only to...
Having the 2012 Race Of Champions in Bangkok is a pretty good reason to think about a quick trip to Asia. It’s way warmer, friendlier and cheaper than going all the way to Europe. The Chin was there along with a large number to Triple Eight staff who quite rightly so deserved the trip as a reward. After a tough year, mentally, Frenchman Romain Grosjean took the spoils and its quite a nice finish to the season. Mark Webber’s candid view of the RG earlier in the year should now be reset.
This is the most complete video of the event I’ve seen so far.
Ricky Gervois probably had a hand in this attempt at humo(u)r by a bunch of Indy Car drivers. At least they are doing something rather than nothing so it remains to be seen whether it might explode into a regular bit of sillyness. Even Micheal Andretti made a cameo ham appearance alongside...
Radio HOTLAP is available free on the Apple iTunes Music Store, as a podcast.
Our World Headquarters are located in a rather nice part of Adelaide, where regular production takes place. Unless we're somewhere else, which is often the case.
If you ask nicely, you may be allowed to be part of our live audience.
Beyond Episode 200
There comes a time, in this case after six years, with over 240 episodes recorded in 10 different countries, 300+ guests and 220 continuous hours of recording, that we feel its time to go commercial. With over 55,000 viewers, since March 2011, we get some serious exposure. So we thought a magazine to fill in the gaps would be nice.
A Word of Warning
Our firm policy that we don't edit a show once its recorded is because it detracts from its natural conversational character in the first place. Commercial partners and alliances will have to adhere to policy and whilst we'll do the best to accommodate you and make you feel loved you have no control of how we do things. Just so we're clear on that :)
