Targa on Parade
Octagon, organisers of Supaloc Targa Adelaide, in conjunction with the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, have just announced that Norwood Parade will be hosting the 2012 Supaloc Targa Adelaide Street Party, on Friday 24th August, 2012.
The council not only agreed to host the event, but have also contributed $10,000 to assist with holding the event on The Parade.
The Parade Targafest Street Party‘ will be held on Friday 24 August from 6.00pm to 9.00pm “offering motorsports lovers the opportunity to get up close and personal with over 150 extraordinary cars, meet the drivers and enjoy an evening of live entertainment, street performances, alfresco dining and a fun family atmosphere.”
The Parade will be closed from George Street to Cairns Street.
For those who can remember, the Classic Adelaide Rally 2009 event also held a street party on The Parade, although it was on a Saturday night, November 21st – a little more balmy than the end of August – but should still be a great evening.

Our World Headquarters are located in a rather nice part of Adelaide, where regular production takes place. Unless we're somewhere else, which is often the case.
If you ask nicely, you may be allowed to be part of our live audience. 
There comes a time, in this case after six years, with over 240 episodes recorded in 10 different countries, 300+ guests and 220 continuous hours of recording, that we feel its time to go commercial. With over 55,000 viewers, since March 2011, we get some serious exposure. So we thought a magazine to fill in the gaps would be nice. 
Our firm policy that we don't edit a show once its recorded is because it detracts from its natural conversational character in the first place. Commercial partners and alliances will have to adhere to policy and whilst we'll do the best to accommodate you and make you feel loved you have no control of how we do things. Just so we're clear on that :)
